Remodeling House Ideas : Built From a Bungalow Part 5
Which should mean we are cost-neutral for electricity," she added. The couple have had a small log-burning stove installed in the living area, with a flue and air intake, but it's as much for ornament as practicality.
Choosing a stove that could be fitted was a protracted process, admits Brigid, made tricky partly by the fact that, due to the airtight nature of the house, it has to have an inlet flue as well as a chimney flue. Remodeling House Costs
Cost of land: £ 470,000
Overall cost of project: £ l26,000
Value of property now: £ 700,000

Having the dream of the house become real, and seeing it go up in two days! Seeing the house come together as we Fitted it out... but the best highlight must have been moving in.
The low point was:
Having to ask the first screeding company to leave the site when they did a poor job. Also, the lirst security
alarm company were not able to put the sounder box in the required position because their ladder wasn't long enough; they couldn’t get a longer ladder because they said their van was too small!
